The Tews had the pleasure of being the party planners for Cole Making Memories, one of our favorite traditions. Every year we have a little (or big) retreat with my family. We decided St. George would be a prime spot for the occasion and decided to do it in February so that Benj could be there before leaving on the mish. (We may be on record as the first family to have a family reunion in February) Amazingly enough, we had the WHOLE clan there!!! As always, we had a FANTASTIC time together!
The boys have a tradition of doing a golf tournament every year. Usually it's Benj and Chris vs. Ed and Greg. (The in-laws are treated as out-laws for this event, sorry Mark and Geo. ha ha. just kidding. Mark went golfing too, of course). Chris came with a surprise of an official trophy for the Cole invitational and The Benj-Chris team has their name on the trophy for two years in a row now! Gav found a lizard that he named "Bluey" but sadly the little guy didn't make it through the vacation.
We were able to fit in some joint Tew and Cole family volleyball and lunch. This is Mark showing off his serious hops. Check out that form...okay he's really just fixing the net. :)
Swimming was also a highlight for the CMM Cinco Partay. The kiddos were in heaven. We have many March birthdays in this family and we had a big birthday dinner and purple party with Grandpa Merle and Karen. The food was delicious and the bubble blowing contest, guessing game, and "what's yours like?" game were very fun! 
We couldn't have a vacation without at least one little hiccup in the plans. Greg ran over a tent stake, time to change the tire! Oh the memories!
The little girls were OBSESSED with the AFLAC ducks given to them by the famous Grandpa Ed. In my opinion, these little chicks may be included as part of the family now. They spent the entire vacation with us. AAAFFFLLLAAAC!
