Latest Doings

Nothing too extraordinary has happened lately. Mark goes to work at about 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. I go to school from 8:30 a.m. until 3:45 p.m. And work from 4-6. It's a little sad that we see each other less now than when we were just dating. Oh well. Life goes on. I am enjoying school and learning interesting ways to teach kids. I do have many time consuming projects to do but I feel they will be worth it when I have my own classroom. It has been lovely weather up here lately so we have played tennis a couple of times along with a little frisbee. Yesterday we went to First Dam and fed the ducks. Life is good!

Favorite Spot on Campus!

I HAD to put this picture on because it's Mark's favorite spot on campus! During one of our softball games last year, Mark hit the ball right at this pole and it bounced off the bottom and hit the "emergency" button. The police came and everything. It was really funny.

THE FAB GRAD

GRADUATION! WHOO! May 2, 2008 was the big day. A big congrats goes out to Mark for graduating Cum Laude!! (don't ask how to spell that :) It was a wonderful day. We were blessed to have the company of Mark's parents as well as a few sibs and an almost inlaw and my family including parents, grandparents, sibs, and aunts and uncles. Becuause my brother Chris graduated the same day, we had a joint celebration with a BBQ at the park. It was a wonderful time for everyone, I think.

A Little Game of "Love"

Here's some evidence that it really is nice weather in Logan on occasion! We had a wonderful time playing tennis with Mark's parents the day before graduation.

May 1, 2008

It is May 1, 2008 in Logan, Utah. Need I say more? Yes, I do need to say more. Some say that writing in a journal can be a way to get frustrations out in a positive manner. After some consideration, I decided that writing a poem would best express how I truly feel about the snow.

I am so sick of the snow,
I wish it would go
Good heavens, it's May
GO AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are cold and wet
You're almost worse than debt!

I feel much better now. ha ha ha.
