We love the FAMILY VISITS!!!

Our dear family drove all the way from West Texas to see us on the East side!!! We had a fabulous time with them. The little man, Parker, loved searching for golf balls the most. I think he went on a few walks every day to search for them. He ended up with over 20!!!!! Since he found the most, he was the big winner and received a popsicle as the prize.

On Saturday, the males did their male thing and went golfing while the females enjoyed a shopping trip to the mall. We also went swimming (well, almost). The water was a little cold so the macho men got in while the ladies lounged around outside of the cold water. We tried Big Jakes for the first time for dinner. Texas BBQ...mmm...mmmm.

Our visitors also enjoyed church on Sunday with the big pot luck dinner following. We played Cash Flow late Friday and Sunday nights as well. This is a pic of the morning breakfast after the late night..... looks like the sweet little baby is the only one who is wide-eyed and ready for the day :)
THANK YOU TEWS FOR COMING TO VISIT!!!!!
WE HAD A GREAT TIME WITH YOU!!!

Mark has been playing in softball tournaments the past couple of Saturdays. I think he may have forgotten how much he loves to play! He has really been enjoying it! I haven't taken any good pictures of him yet. The past two Saturdays, the tournaments have been canceled in the afternoon due to tornado warnings and fierce rain storms. The weather has been crazy lately! However, he did manage to crank a homer!!! YAY!

Our AWESOME Vacation to SA

Just a warning: I am going to cheat. We went on an AWESOME trip to San Antonio for our latest COLE FAMILY REUNION!!! It was such a fabulous vacation!!!! My sis is a better blogmaster than I am, so here comes the cheating....check out her blog for an update! ha ha cheater cheater pumpkin eater, I know.

Kimi's Blog

I must add a couple of things:

Mark + Elise = Best Friends

I would say typically, I'm pretty good with the little ones but this little girly LOVE LOVE LOVES Mark. I tried to lull her with toys or even food but she wouldn't have it. They hung out pretty much the whole time. She wanted Mark to hold her more than anyone the whole vacation. He is HANDS DOWN her favorite uncle! It was pretty dang cute!!!

Mark + Benji + Lacey = Hard Core

We went on the STEEL EEL rollercoaster at Sea World 5 times. (3 times in a row I think). My head was spinning a bit but it was worth it. The rollercoaster has a lot of huge drops....we were lucky no one threw up with how much we ate durring the vacation!

WE HAD A BALL WITH THE FAM!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOOD MEMORIES. Mark and I are in charge of planning next year...CMMV (Cole Making Memories 5). Time will tell where the destination will be.

A Peek into my Daily Life.....

According to Mrs. Tew, one way to make sure the students remember the stuff that is being taught is to sing. Another is to dance. Another is to relate new knowledge to what they already know (they definitely know soulja boy). Hit all three today! I think this is hilarious but you might have to have some SOUL to understand. I wish I had music to go along with it.

Hoppy Easter!!!

For this Easter Season, Mark was able to go on a treasure hunt for his basket....I thought it was pretty funny. He was a good sport. After finding several clues, the big prize was finally found at our friend's house a few minutes drive from our house.

We also went to our friends, the Platts, for dinner. It was a good time and some tasty food!!! We played "Mormon Mouthful" after dinner and an easter egg hunt (and fight) to top it off.
My Easter basket was hidden in a purse that we are taking to San Antonio for our niece. It took me quite a while to find it. YAY!! A new softball glove!!!!
These are my Easter decorations...for my sis and mom to see. I ended up taking the Egg Tree back because it was kind of leaning to one side...bugs.

Life has been busy lately...quite busy. I don't really want to make this post too long, so I think I will list the things that have happened lately

1. Lacey's B-day. -many cards, favorite meals, and birthday gifts. LOVE IT!!!

2. Mark's B-day. -hopefully we are both one day older and wiser too????

3. Work, work, double work. No explanation needed.

4. Twilight - I am a little apprehensive to admit it because it seems pretty immature to be addicted to a teenage vampire romance, but it's true. I guess now that I'm "one day older and wiser too" I can admit my secret addictions...I have just finished book #2 of the series. If you think I'm acting "one day younger and immature too," I'm okay with it. HOWEVER, I know there are those of you out there that share my same passion.
SIDE NOTE FYI: I don't think I have EVER in my life read a book that had more than a few hundred pages....so it says a lot about the book if I would actually read TWO of them and pay attention.

5. The Albertsons Monopoly Game -Yes, we are playing. And I'm thinking we will win any minute now...so far we have won the $10 and $2 small gifts. Mark wants to win the wii and I want to win the $500,000 cash or mortgage. Go big or go home, right?

6. Food storage in white buckets. It has been a few week project. Nice to check that one off the list.

Ok, enough update.
